Excuse me please; but I cannot take political comment
anymore!
I will get back to it I promise! Someday soon.
Anyway...
There was a time when some members of the Intelligentsia decided
that the free flow of ideas had something to do with communication problems.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto
I confess that even at the age of 13? I decided this movement
was crap. hahahahahah
Now I must admit my own biases, of course!
I mean I was an altar boy in my youth and I ended up taking three
years of Latin in high school and happened to add another two years
of Latin studies in College.
Now to this day I cannot read Latin with any efficiency. hahahahah
Although I certainly am better able to see the language roots
of some English verbiage.
I just had come to the conclusion that Esperanto was silly.
Here we already had on this planet a Universal Language of sorts
in the form of Lingua Latina.
We are speaking of course with regard to hundreds of millions of
folks who went to the Latin Mass!
The Romance Language category related to French, Spanish, Italian, and a
host of other European languages.
English is supposedly (or was supposedly) Germanic in origin although
Latin roots remained in the 40th percentile as to origins?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_language#Early_Modern_English
But one of my favorite 'histories' of all time involved Geoffrey
of Monmouth.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoffrey_of_Monmouth
This Magister, wrote in Lingua Latina.
And yet
Chaucer wrote in the idiomatic? language of English sixty years and more
before Gutenberg and yet
And Chaucer died fifty years before Gutenberg. hahahah
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johannes_Gutenberg
Following Gutenberg, Lingua Latina died!
Monasteries were no longer the primary keepers of knowledge.
Now England 'conquered' THE SEAS!
So, for the last three hundred years or so, one could travel the seas
and find somebody who could translate a message in English.
And do not get me goin....I mean the Chinese have one basic language
And according to the numbers, more Chinese speak the same language
than all of the rest of humanity combined. hahahahahah
It appears to me that Han is the universal language?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_language
Anyway, back to Lingua Latina.
We used to have the 'Romance Languages'; and that idiotic name had nothing
to do with the reproductive process involved in recreating humanity; but it
had everything to do with THE ROMANS.
Again, we have the Italian language and the French language and the Spanish
language as well as the Germanic languages that could not help but
adopt so many Latin derivitaves.
The Esperanto movement was stupid! hahahhahaha
Anyway, there was no language that encompassed so many people than the
language of China. hahahahahahah
NOW WE ENTER A NEW ERA WITH REGARD TO COMMUNICATION.
One of my favorite films was Judgment at Nuremburg
.
In those days, every juror or judge or prosecutor or defense counsel had to wear
these offal head phones.
Immediate translations were communicated by third party translators.
SHOULD I GET TO THE POINT?
Hell, we can watch any film today with subtitles added to our viewing screen.
But computer software has become so great that I do not even think that our
State Department has to even deal with language issues.
A computer might tell us what ISIS or ISIL is saying.
Cruz feels he can speak to Marco:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/ted-cruz-spanish_us_56c0f58ae4b08ffac125b341
But it appears that Cruz has Espanol problems. hahahahah
I am really coming to the conclusion that the more humanity can speak to humanity;
THE WORSE OFF WE ARE.
hahahhahaha
It might have been better if we continued to have some sort of miscommunication.
The more we know what other states or tribes are saying;
the worse off we are. hahahahha
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto
And yet, when Americans decide that they know
what the 'other Americans' are saying...well
That is one big problem.
And yet English is the primary communication device unless, of course
one is dealing with alligator hunters on the History Channel.
hahahahah
If you all do not understand this diatribe, well I cannot blame you
I GET SO DAMNED LOSTED
WHAT WAS THE QUESTION AGAIN?
Comments
Fortunately there is my iPhone and written word apps like iTranslate, and Voice Translator for speech. Esperanto can kiss my Gluteus Maximus.

You know momoe, I have too much time to think. hahahahha
We live in a different time, a different world, a different universe than we grew up on.
Is communication, real communication (understood and all?) good for us? hahhahahah
Yeah, I am going back two months.
I just review my old blogs from time to time, as it were.
But damn, we might conclude that if the enemy really knew what we were saying....we would all be f%^&ked.
hahhahahaha this song has nothing to do with nothing, It just hit me today
