Gitmo detainees claiming innocence--where are the polygraphs?

When the CIA wants to know if a person is telling the truth, it brings out "the box". No, not some kinda torture device, . The polygraph machine (in the hands of a competent operator).

Parenthetically, similar resort to technology is common when district attorneys are deciding whether a report of a crime is veridical, or when Walmart is experiencing excessive "inventory shrinkage" and wants to sort out the honest from dishonest warehouse workers.

My point? Anyone who really wants to know if a person's protestations of innocence are to be credited will at least seek the expert opinion of a well trained polygrapher as to the presence or absence of indications deceptive intent in the suspect.

I put it to you that each and every one of the detainees who have been released after years of unjustified captivity, some because they were found to be victims of simple mistaken identity , was early in his questioning subjected to a polygraph which he passed.

No doubt the results are in the 90% of the torture report which is redacted.

Per contra, if any of these detainees were not polygraphed, it's because their captors knew that they would pass...

Actually, even when they fear the detainee will pass, they give him the polygraph exam just so they can lie to him and tell him he failed...

In my Sept. 9 post, Investigation Reveals Never-Before-Published Truths About Early Days of ‘Global War on Terror’ at Guantanamo Bay, I share an excerpt from my second nonfiction book, The Clapper Memo. It contains never-before-published details about what took place at Guantanamo Bay during the early years of the so-called “Global War On Terror” that followed. Among the topics discussed is how polygraph failed at GITMO. Hope you'll read and share the news.

I skimmed the linked material--other than the relentless flogging of your books, the lengthy quote was innocent of content.

Perhaps you could be persuaded to share here , (gratis), the gist of your argument.
