    THE GREAT DEBATES & COCONUTS

    PREFACE

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) said she would add former presidents Ronald Reagan, James Garfield and Calvin Coolidge to Mount Rushmore Tuesday in an ABC News/Yahoo! interview Tuesday.

When asked who she would add to the South Dakota monument, she proposed Reagan. She then mentioned James Garfield, who was president for just over seven months before being assassinated. She reportedly said she chose him because he is the only person to become president from the House of Representatives. (Bachmann could be the second if she is elected president.) She then said Calvin Coolidge would be a good candidate for the monument, since he "got the country's budget back on track." (Huffpo)

Did not Abraham Lincoln kind of sit in the People's House for a term or two?

Oh who cares! I want a Constitutional Amendment barring Michele Bachman from ever holding public office!

In July, the press learned that Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), a Tea Party freshman in Congress, owed $117,000 in unpaid child support to his ex-wife. Walsh, despite earning a hefty salary as a member of Congress, has continued to refuse to pay his ex-wife to support his children. Now, it appears, an influential Christian right lobbying group is lending some support to the deadbeat congressman.

The Sun-Times reports that the Family Research Council, a social conservative advocacy nonprofit headed by CNN pundit Tony Perkins, has awarded Walsh a 100 percent rating as a “True Blue” member of Congress. The FRC said it gave the honor to Walsh because of his “unwavering support of the family".

    THE REPUB'S UNREAL REALITY TV!

Governor Perry can barely remember his own name and looked for Grampa Paul, of all people for Help.

But do not worry because Admired Perry is not going to skip any future 'debate'.

Cain referring to powerful women like Pelosi as Princess—I mean consider the context for this dirty old man.

But then For former South Carolina Republican Party Executive Director Todd Kincannon, it was a license to go a little wild on Twitter. (He used the C word, no need for abusing the P word as far as he is concerned.

Oh and while we're on Cain's case, he also notes that for every woman who complains about him there are thousands of women who would never claim that he attempted to grab their yooohooos! I wonder if Paterno knows anything about this?

Newt might have worked for Freddie Mac, but he was not a lobbyist. It appears he was paid to simply write his own history about himself while he worked for Freddie Mac.

The entire audience at the latest Repub reality TV gig appeared to be dumber than the candidates.

I do think I know what the problem is here:

I’d always thought of coconut water as a treat only encountered when traveling. Sold from a roadside cement-block hut in Vietnam. Sipped from a wrinkled plastic bag pierced with a straw. But the product (which is simply the juice of a young, hacked-open coconut) has suddenly flooded the U.S. market. It’s ubiquitous in Manhattan bodegas, shoving aside the 24 oz. aluminum cans of Modelo. Category leader Vita Coco reports 2009 sales volume of $20 million, 2010 sales of $40 million, and expected 2011 sales of $100 million. Competitors boast similar growth rates. What’s driving this specialty beverage boomlet? And how long can it last?

I think it is the coconut water.

Wiki would have you believe that:

Coconut water has a high potassium content and contains antioxidants linked to a variety of health benefits.[2] Cytokinins in coconut water may be among its most beneficial components

But we should remember that an awful lot of this produce arrives here from Asia.

And between the Chinese and the Japanese and the Koreans (the source of all of Walmart's products), I think a conspiracy is going on here.

I think it started with British Communists:

One possible danger of drinking coconut water everyday is its high sugar content.

(You are not going to tell me that these repubs aren't high on something.)

You can lose control of your bowels.

(Just look at Newt's face sometime, I mean something is going on there I tell ya!)

You might gain weight. (So for the NJ Gov, it's out of the question).

You may become allergic, if not to Coconut water maybe it will make you allergic to something else.

And never never never mix it with lime.

    Just a thought!

    FOOTNOTE

Things are getting real bad out there:

CLEVELAND — An Election Day poll worker tried to bite off a voter's nose during an argument Tuesday over a campaign sign, police and election officials said.

"This is absolutely unacceptable behavior that we do not tolerate," Cuyahoga County elections director Jane Platten said. The elections board identified the worker for Cleveland police, who are seeking to arrest him, she said.

Greg Flanagan, 49, who had just voted, said he was bitten when he went to the aid of a campaign worker who was in an argument with an election employee over a sign posted near the polls.

    There ya go Ducky! hahahahhahah

That was the Black Cocaine scare of the 90's. hahahahahaha

Hmmm... all the candidates' water glasses were filled with COCONUT WATER!  The sad fact is, Republicans passed coconut de-regulation, which let coconut corporations ship all our American coconut water production overseas.  (Hey, I just noticed that everything is a lot funnier if you put the word coconut in front of it!!)  Coconut candidates campaigning for coconut President of the coconut United States cannot speak cogently about coconuts constantly.  Convoluted conspiracies continue to cause conniptions about coconut collaborators with continual colloquial coconut calamities coming to co-ops in college towns like Kokomo.  But never mind that. You're right, as always. Beware the coconut water.

    Coconut deregulation. ha!

You've normally got a lovely bunch of coconuts. But this is the best bunch I've seen. Very funny.

Coconut milk might be the best laxative on earth. And I definitely think Newt is wearing pampers. As for Perry, I think the recent meteor re-aligned Perry's compass. Was "admired" a play on "Admiral". If I recall the Admiral had a few problems among his progeny, the full extent of it unknown until last night.

Detergents and soaps are also great laxatives. I hear that a couple of drops of visene in a cup of coffee is a good way to wipe out your competitor in a business meeting. Takes about 3 minutes to work and is a guaranteed hour long absence.

I had a WWII vet working for me for a while doing telephone sales. He claimed that in Britain when he was a nose gunner a spy had slipped into camp, loaded the soup with soap, put the squadron down for a week. He said he never recovered. I took him out to lunch and he proved it.

Yeah I was attempting to do something on 'Admiral'; that was the best I could do.

Our last President was so terrible at speaking but this Perry is like the eighth grader who is having trouble reading his own notes in speech class.

But I have to admit, this new reality TV is getting to be quite entertaining!

You would think these folks would stick to script and just continue their vacuous attacks on Obama, and health care and socialists!
