McConnell Plays Victim in NC GOP Vote Fraud

McConnell on the floor of the Senate today.  He thinks playing the victim will, as usual, go over well with the Fox News indoctrinated morons of the Republican base:

“We were hit with left-wing talking points insisting that voter fraud wasn’t real. Never happens, they said. Well, that fraud just didn’t happen, that modest efforts to ensure that voters who are who they say they are and are voting in the proper place were really some sinister right-wing plot to prevent people from voting,” McConnell said. “So now, as you might expect, now that an incident of very real voter fraud has become national news and the Republican candidate seems ― seems ― to have benefited, these long-standing Democratic talking points have been really quiet.”

McConnell knows Fox News has his back, and the "both sides are at fault" media will have Newt or other right wing lying con artist to provide "balance" and fudge all Republican accountability for illegally collecting, falsifying and/or throwing Democratic voter ballots in the trash. Criminal actions which have led the North Carolina state government election commission to call for another election in the 9th Congressional District of NC.

Why does the Republican Party lie, hate and act to undermine our democracy?

I saw a tweet and then when I came back here my eyes saw your headline and something clicked. What is new with even GOP leader modus operandi is that they are playing victim card uber all their other traditional tools (i.e. NCD noted classics  lie, hate and act to undermine our democracy et. al.) When they used to disparage same. Think like Newt, he wouldn't do victimhood. This is something they have learnt from the sick narcissist President! He used it successfully to get the presidency in the right districts everybody was always fighting over. But he never stops using it because it's also a sicko very personal thing with him, he's bitter about anything that hurts his self-image, won't let it go, presumes everyone is "mom" would would care. Here's the tweet that struck me:

Let’s say for argument’s sake that the crowds filled out later and he’s semi-right. It’s two years later. Who cares? https://t.co/FJkpFKnoCI

Past CPAC of days gone by would never stand for such a goofy whiner! Whining whining ego victimhood all the time. Like a child! Exactly what they used to mock. Now they don't just agree, they use it: the media coverage, it is a plot against us, this is why we can't succeed even though we've had majorities, this is why we accomplished nothing.
