    I hope you see this, mcrose.  I was checking out a comment on Rutabaga's Pot-sniffing blog, and saw a comment from you that I'd missed. 

    I am deeply sorry for the comment I made that caused you pain; it was inexcusable.  I was short, and I was dismissive, and cruel.  All I can say is that I was under duress from some other comments that day, and really off my game.  My mental condition does not excuse it.

    Please don't let it be your final Hallelujah, and accept my apology.  Come back; it is so grand when watchers participate, and I ruined it for you. I will do better in the future.

    I'm not always such an ass.  (Just some of the time.)  I hope you see this tonight so that I can sleep better.

    And for any Cafe readers, if you happen to see McRose68 (easier to remember that way) will you please let him or her know I'm offering an apology?  I've hunted on the boards with no success.  Thanks.
