    He feigns to stand in the shoes of Abraham Lincoln.

    We are told that this great man will speak of his first 100 days as President of the United States of America.

    So Donald will edit or destroy most of the Executive Orders of the last eight years.

    Donald will begin to build a wall and send Mexico a bill?

    Donald will erase thousands of regulations issued over the last fifty years.

    OH AND YEAH, DONALD WILL SUE EVERY WOMAN WHO HAS ACCUSED HIM OF SEXUAL ASSAULT?

    WHAT?

    So I watched most of this debacle and what happens on cable?

    Well, CNN and even Fox are covering some speech by Clinton and MSNBC struts out the eleventh woman to accuse Trump of sexual assault.

    Except this time, the victim is a porno queen and except this time there were witnesses.

    I would ordinarily laugh this off; but again, this aint that funny.

    He attempted to offer this latest victim ten grand.

    Now this all appears to me to be a combination of Tiger Woods and Cosby and weirdos who attack women on public transit.

    When was the last time a Presidential Candidate from a major party promised America that in his first 100 days in office following an election that enemies would be sued?

    There are so many things going through my head right now that I do not know where to begin or to end.

    TRUMP WAS ATTEMPTING TO STAND IN THE SHOES OF LINCOLN FOR CHRISSAKES.

    Lawrence showed up this morning. I mean he used to show up four days a week for his 9 O'Clock show  then we see him five days a week but now he shows up this afternoon.

    O'Donnell shows up again due to this latest Trump Thump?

    Wash Post:

    Donald Trump first swept into the nation’s capital 40 years ago. It didn’t go well.

    Trump senior was arrested and jailed overnight on slum lord neglect of property charges in Maryland. They took a load of money out of there of course.

    Totally off topic, but I remember "Peeping Tom". It was a horror film ahead of its time.

    Regarding Trump, he is losing college educated whites and white women. Hillary is virtually tied with him among "working class" whites. The hopeful message is that a great number of whites are rejecting Trump's appeal to white supremacy , racism, and misogyny.

    Hmmm, yeah, one of the reasons Bill had such an easy time of it was the dearth of black people in the White House before - we didn't quite know what they looked like at the time, so when him & Vernon Jordan were palin' around, we were like, "well shut my mouth, maybe they are long lost brothers..." Michelle's put an end to that - with all her outreach and such, we even know now that Motown songs were originally sung by black people and not Bruce Willis on Moonlighting. It's been a long hard road, but we're moving up. When I saw one of our own competing on Black Jeopardy, I felt durn proud.

    Cracker Barrel meets White Castle? Mmm mmm good....

    In any case, hoping one thing that comes out of this election is putting a damper on trigger-/choke-hold happy police, a return to basic cool-headed response.

    Some rightwinger was going on and on about the crime situation in Chicago - but managed to completely leave out disappearing black suspects into a dark site in some large building where they could be locked away without rights or anyone knowing their whereabouts for days. Quite the selective perception - see no evil, hear no evil....

    It is amazing that wingnuts go on and on about Chicago crime. Chicago murder rate has gone down compared to past decades. Nationally violent crime and murder is trending down.
