WHINING WORKS SOMETIMES
I whined recently about my computer problems.
So I end up receiving face book notifications as well as emails from an old friend of mine. I have known him since the old days at Cafe. I put it off.
Then I gave up the ghost and contacted him.
Momoe would not let me alone. hahahahah So the expert calls and shows up and gets on my computer and in my computer.
We spoke while he tweeked my computer for two hours. I thought:
What the hell do I lose? Well, following our fine conversation and his work (which would most probably be worth a couple hundred bucks; miracles have happened.
I click on FireFox and I get Google instead of bing; I get to a link in miniseconds. I can get to blogs within a link in miniseconds. And I can stay on the original link, just in a different tab. The expert of course, set up icons. Idiots need icons, believe me.
Notepad appears to be working just fine.
Although I found that I scribbled the numbers necessary to get back on Word 365 on some old notebook cover awhile ago. So I will get back Word 365 sometime soon.
There are take- aways of course.
One of the icons will interrupt my readings with ads that will not go away. But shut down the tab and all is gooooooood. Then get whateverthehell was on that tab.
BEWARE OF WHAT YOU WISH FOR.
So it is Monday, August 10th and what is ON THE WEB?
TRUMP for chrissakes.
Who cares?
Instant polls.
Megan Kelly's menstrual cycle. (You gotta check out Joe Scarborough's show this morning.)
What trype! Joe is so sure 'the media' mischaracterized Donald's words. hahahhaah
How might one mischaracterize someone without character? Well you get someone else without character to send the message.
It is just that the guests on Mornin Joke all cow two to their leader. hahahahah Enough of that.
GENDER SPECIFIC TOYS
http://mediamatters.org/video/2015/08/10/fox-host-criticizes-gender-neutral-toys-who-thi/204863
Our friends at FOX are angry about protests against gender specific toys. Who the hell cares. My granddaughters might have pink thingies and pretend stoves to play with, they might have pink ribbons in their hair. But these tots are always clean, always well clothed, and they always smell so gooooooooood.
And I love pink ribbons in their hair and I love their costumes.
But my babies' parents, do not need a damn sign to tell them what to buy. hhahahah
And their mama, certainly wishes that they become well educated and that they one day will both will vote.
ps I did lose my scripting ability at Dagblog.
You know bold and paste and....
I got all this to work on e and I hate e but for Dagblog, I just go to e.
I can edit and paragraph and add songs and pix and...it is all gooooooooood.
This is magic.
Although I do not think I would entrust my granddaughters to Maurice.
hahahah
Comments
Well glad it worked out for you. Lets see what I can add to this comment that is in the news today.
PPP has a pole out that shows Trump is still in the lead in Iowa at 19%. Carly is on fire because she came running out of the basement with 9%.

I don't know anything about Morning Consult, but they have a pole out that shows Trump's numbers are still climbing nationally. He is at 32% and up 7% from last week's survey. They have Jeb at second place 11% which falls in line with how he is doing in Iowa. They have a nice chart that shows the GOP goat rodeo in action.

Joan Walsh article this morning was perfect for my mood. She summed up what I was thinking about that what Trump said was nothing new. I have heard it before over the years.
She goes into detail about her experiences on National TV with this.

Something I have noticed they didn't match up Trump with Sanders. They are so sure it is not worth their time. I find his campaign fascinating. He is still packing the house. 20,000 in Portland. I am listening to his stump speech right now. The crowd is really into his words.
We are seeing a form of demonstration in politics. People are not marching in the streets but they are coming out to his stump speeches. They could stay home and watch or listen to his speeches like I am doing right now, but instead they stand in long lines and wait for hours to hear him and fight the traffic to get home. It is like they are sending a message to DC. They are saying "this is what we want you do to." "Don't you see us?" "Can't you hear our cheers and boos?" "Ignore us at your peril because we are putting you on notice,"

You know Momoe, you have a real point, as usual.
I like Bernie. Hell I love the guy.
I will vote for him.
But I like Hillary.
I think we need a woman in this highly prized position.
But I would vote for Bernie or Hillary or any other Dem.
I like them all.
I do not think Hillary is some pretend Dem.
HILLARY & BERNIE.
That would be just fine with me.
I still like the other guys.

As no-one ever said, 'It's easy to turn whining into winning! Just get the "H" out of there and add an "N" in the middle!' Remember:
To whine is but to
rant with specificity.
Silly lad, rant on.

I just noticed you can't indent a paragraph. I don't know why I didn't jump out at me. (Whispering to lurking friend....Chrome fixed that on my windows 8)

And I hate e.

by Richard Day on Mon, 08/10/2015 - 10:19pm
Yay!! You figured it out. So as long as you stay with internet explorer (e) you are fine. That is all the matters. I don't use note pad because I haven't seen it since Windows XP.

Why can't Fox have 7 debates like baseball or the NBA? Best of 7?
Or with the GOP, call it Autumn Madness and start with 64 candidates and go with one on one elimination? Sweet 16 etc? Americans would love it...?
by NCD on Mon, 08/10/2015 - 10:16pm
Because God and Fox work in mysterious ways.
Always gooooooooooood to see you NCD.
I should be paying you the Trump fee of fifty bucks. hahahahah
by Richard Day on Mon, 08/10/2015 - 10:20pm
Donald says you don't pay man, its on the house, and front of the line at the buffet too.
Check out NYT Krugman on 'Obama's Failure to Fail', in the debate more mention of God than the economy, no 'drill drill'. GOP whining that the country is doing so well.
by NCD on Mon, 08/10/2015 - 11:50pm
Thanks for the link NCD. hahahah
Obama's failure to fail.
We should give Krugman the Dayly Title of the Day Award for this here Dagblog Site, given to all of him from all of us. hahahahah
Just as an aside, I like Krugman. All of the terrible corporate ....(*&^suckers) in the world.
I always read Krugman.
Thanks for the link!
