If I may say so without seeming to brag, I have an uncanny ability to "read" people. When Nunez came out of his meeting with Trump, he had a distinct look of someone trying to contain his panic. I could sense the fear on his face. Now, there are also objective findings, such as his breaking of protocol in racing over to the White House to meet with (warn) trump. Not to mention the scathing interview with Adam Schiff about Nunez's bizarre behavior.
According to section (a)(6) of federal statute 50 U.S. Code 3021, a civilian like Steve Bannon will in fact need to go through Senate confirmation and approval in order to serve on the National Security Council because he doesn’t fit into any of the five listed pre-approved categories. That obscure law, which has remained obscure because no president has ever tried to put a political hack on the NSC until now, was dug up by MSNBC analyst Jonathan Alter late on Monday night.
My sister just texted me that she thinks Hillary should sue Comey. I responded that Hillary should just enjoy her life doing whatever will make her happy, and not get into the dirt of any lawsuit.
Then I began thinking about who was really damaged by his actions, and half of the country was. I haven't been able to find anything on the possibility of having a Class Action lawsuit against him for the aggrieved parties. I realize that it would be impossible if he had followed protocols, but he didn't, and even went against his boss's verbal instructions not to do what he did.
Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald notes in his article,
Dear Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, I Am Not Sidney Blumenthal,
He recognized his own words in a Wki-Leak-dumped email purportedly written to Clinton from Sidney Blumenthal. It was cut & pasted to give the opposite impression, and the words were not Eichenwald's in the first place.
Donald ran with it, eliciting the usual "Lock her up!" Reaction from the crowd.
I have had the tired job of watching the TV today after a weekend of camping and I am very tired, I have to say that all the hubbub and BS that has preceded this event makes me wonder how The Trump Con Show expects this to make it happen.
This absurd effort to make truth a joke is only one effort to the Trump Familiy is yet one more example of their patheticaness
I knew when I read it that they letter was not written by a physician, but a doctor went through item by item and leaves no doubt. It is obviously a forgery, with a dead man and the top, a non-functioning link, and the third word of the letter is a typo:
This is pretty interesting. From what I know it is accurate (with the exception of the statement that Virginia leans Democratic -->. I WISH). I think this is a very good ticket.
Did you hear him? He was carefully reading out the letters. Could there be a less ingenuous point? And then he moves onto Muslims. He is the best leader EVER! Well, at least according to Ivanka.
I am fairly confident that Hillary Clinton will be elected in November. I am very confident that if she is our next President she will do a good job, and many people who are not staunch supporters will be pleasantly surprised at her efforts and policies for all of us. I expect that she will improve the ACA, make prescription drugs less expensive, improve services for the neediest, and rebuff any attempts to privatize Social Security, Medicare, and other programs that help the common Good. This will no doubt be labeled by the GOP as "free stuff to the undeserving." We must not allow that to gain traction.
Having seen the gauche hatred at the GOP Convention, I am also expecting the Democratic Convention to be one of hope, policy discussions, and inspiration. But what I would really like to do here is open up a discussion about how to win over the disaffected; the Trump supporters who truly believe that only Donald Trump could “Make America Great Again.”
I would like to humbly suggest that ridiculous, stupid videos, without any attempt or effort at explaining, evaluating or justifying them, should be a TOS violation based on pure laziness.. It does nothing to further conversation or enlightenment.
Bernie has $10,000,000+ listed in the section of his report that is for itemized donations, however they are listed under the donor name of "unitemized total." That's kind of like explaining that the reason your bank account is overdrawn is because you wrote too many checks.
When Donald Trump told Republicans that his campaign had money, it was a lie. In meeting with Senate Republicans, Trump’s campaign privately admitted that they have no money and will not be able to run television ads until after the GOP convention in July.
