No. Indigenous knowledge has nothing to teach us about how to solve the problems caused by a human population of 8 billion. The most it might say is don't breed so much that you create a population of 8 billion. Indigenous knowledge is only concerned with how to live in balance on the land with an extremely low population density with low and simple technologies.
