Sarah Palin Gets Prank Call From "French President Sarkozy"

"Governor Palin was mildly amused to learn that she had joined the ranks of heads of state, including President Sarkozy and other celebrities, in being targeted by these pranksters. C'est la vie."
Other folks reported to be mildly amused include the entire planet except for John McCain, who is reported to be extremely dyspeptic. Btw, you have to love the quote, "President Sarkozy and other celebrities." You also have to love the dry response from Robert Gibbs, campaign spokesperson for the "other celebrity" running for office:
"I'm glad we check out our calls before we hand the phone to Barack Obama."
I submit to Tracy Schmitt a more apt French expression: Les jeux sont faits.

Heard it, read it, loved it. That prank had to be one of the best parts of the campaign for me to date. I am starting to become concerned about what is going to amuse me when she slinks back to Alaska. What am I goint to do? Collect string? Read dagblag over and over? I know - I'll start a missing sarah on line support group!!!
