There weren’t that many Asians in US period until after the liberalization of immigration laws in 1960s. And even between now and 1990 we saw a more than 200 percent increase in Asian population. Ed debates are becoming more focused on Asians for a reason.

I grew up in West Virginia. My witness at the Supreme Court + defense of equal rights has elicited the ugliest racism I’ve ever seen against Asians, immigrants, Indians, Hindus..me.
