Taylor Dumpson in 2017 sued the founder and editor of the Daily Stormer, alleging he initiated a racist "troll storm" against her that made her fear for her life and disrupted her ability to pursue her education.

Dumpson is in law school, preparing to fight for the rights of others. It is doubtful that she will receive a penny of the award, but the point is made.

Yes, smart woman. A reminder: our judicial system is the branch that was intended to be the place to fight to protect minority and individual rights, since a majority rules elections.
But these rulings go beyond that. They indicate that speech used to threaten others using social media may not be protected by the First Amendment. It is a movement more towards the UK interpretation, where some speech can cost you a hefty libel judgment.
