There were also a ton of Kasich-to-Hillary crossover voters in 2016.

In general worrying that primary bitterness will hurt in the general election is totally reasonable; but there’s no particular reason to see that as a Bernie-specific worry.

I'm pretty sure if there were a "ton of Kasich-to-Hillary crossover voters" Hillary would have won Ohio. She lost by 450,000 despite huge GOTV by Beyonce et al in Cleveland & elsewhere.

Comes to mind that Prof. Schaffner could have saved a lot of time and study by just coming to Dagblog to learn that they switched to Trump after Bernie lost because they were all racists.
