Robert Jones, CEO of the Public Religion Research Institute has a new book " The End of White Christian America" was on CSPAN this weekend. He covers similar data, but hidden in the weeds is that church attendance among Blacks and Latinos has not declined. The marked religious decline is among white Protestants. While there are still homophobic, Conservative black churches, more appear to be headed in the direction of Rev William Barber's activism. The GOP's fire and brimstone message along with the GOP's acceptance of a racist makes it unlikely that the GOP will be able to gain many converts among black Christians.
