Northeastern Ohio: “A train with more than 100 cars derailed in East Palestine, about 15 miles south of Youngstown. There were 20 cars with hazardous material in the train - 10 of which derailed. Of those 10, five were carrying vinyl chloride, the NTSB said.”

Donald Trump did this:
After rail industry donors delivered more than $6 million to GOP campaigns in 2017, Trump Administration, backed by rail lobbyists & Senate Republicans, rescinded an Obama Adm rule aimed at making Civil War-era braking systems safer. https://t.co/1RWo2MvJiepic.twitter.com/Z4Fjye8spo

Cannot make this up. Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert and other Republicans just sent a letter to Pete Buttigieg attacking him for the train derailment without knowing that the train oversight board… isn’t part of his department. pic.twitter.com/ZU9UeygeUh
As republicans try to attack "Mayor Pete" and his Press Secretary in East Palestine, Ohio today, I've been looking up the Train regulations and Rules that Trump scrapped as president. Here they are:

'We all knew it was going to happen': Railroad workers and unions say years of cost-cutting and safety pushback created the Ohio train disaster https://t.co/VCvlwqnvdq
I would imagine the anti-monopoly meme inherent attracted the editor:
[....] The railroad industry has become concentrated among a small number of companies in recent years. Including Norfolk Southern, there are seven Class One railroad companies in the U.S., down from 33 in 1980. Critics including unions, senior politicians, and legal experts say the consolidation has led to less competition and accountability for the industry’s big players, while warning that the industry’s nature raises the risk of more accidents.
“We all knew it was going to happen,” Christenson said about the Ohio derailment. “They really need to look at how this monopoly crowds people out. Everyone in America is being held hostage by a handful of railroads.”

OK Jordan,
You've done your daily ass kissing of your master Trump.
Now read the TRUTH.
