Eastern Washington and Idaho have been a weird space for Amtrak for some time. A prominent station was put out of operation back in the late 1990s, I believe. Hopefully, further investment in Amtrak results in an expansion thereabouts. It is beautiful country and a train connection would bring in a lot of investment.
