I wonder...is Mueller working up to a Christmas present for all of us (especially for the country), or is this just fake news? Hmmmmmm...I’m hoping for the former.
This is clear sign Flynn is cooperating, per experts, and that the government issued a single count felony -- the easiest to write & one that shows fewest cards -- in order to pressure Flynn to flip. Central mandate for Mueller after all is Russian counterintel investigation.
ABC News’ Brian Ross reported on Friday morning that Flynn has agreed to “fully cooperate” with Mueller in the probe, and is “prepared to testify… against President Trump, against members of the Trump family and others in the White House.”
Most significantly, Ross’ source says that Flynn will tell Mueller that Trump as a presidential candidate ordered him to make “direct contact” with the Russian government to help his campaign.
So here's what Breitbart is up to on it. This is their headline story right now. The point is much larger and is interspersed with two emoticons of guys wearing crowns (which I can't get to paste here.) Suggests Jared should be the fall guy?
Reports in multiple outlets Friday claim White House Advisor and
presidential son-in-lawJared Kushner is responsible for directing
then-candidate for National Security Advisor Micheal Flynn
to make the phone call about which he later lied to the FBI.

The network corrected its faulty report, which drew widespread criticism and a skewering from conservative commentators about 'fake news.'
By Cristiano Lima, Updated 12/01/2017 11:54 PM EST
ABC News late Friday corrected its faulty report claiming then-candidate Donald Trump had directed Michael Flynn to contact Russian officials during the 2016 campaign.
The initial report, which aired during ABC News' “Special Report” around 11 a.m. on Friday, cited a source claiming that a close associate of Flynn was prepared to testify that Trump "directed him to make contact with the Russians" during the course of the 2016 presidential race.
Around 6:30 p.m. ABC News’ Brian Ross issued an on-air “clarification” that their source had explained that it was only after the election that “President-elect Trump asked [Flynn] to contact Russia on issues including working together to fight ISIS.” [....]
NYT: Trump campaign colluded w NRA & Moscow for support. via Trump team's Rick Dearborn, Erickson was the go-between for Trump group & NRA, arranging a meetup at Louisville convention in mid-2016, having been compromised by Russia at least since his 2014 trip to Moscow.
Elsewhere NRA is known for being feted by dodgy Russian groups in Russia. Christian Conservative groups also indicated in this equation, though still a lot of threads to pull.
Big question is whether Russian money was funneled through NRA for Trump campaign.
It's amazing that the snowflake media still thinks it can get away with fake news stories or spin anything from these weak threads. Their collusion and conspiracy is open and they did manage to keep the fake Flynn lie up for 7 hours, so it was imprinted on the rubes unlike the retracion. All this follow-up story spin does is show that the Trump team rejected any hidden meetings arranged by overstimulated lesser watercarriers.
The Russians were lobbying for better relations with the US and we are cooperating with them on Syria and the IS but Trump has also imposed new sanctions because of other disagreements.

You are a liar. Trump has been dragging his feet on agreeing to impose sanctions on Russia. Congress forced his hand. If you are going to lie at least choose a topic that is not so easily disproven. Of course you could post links to prove your point, but you don’t post links because you know that you are lying. You used to at least be amusing. Now your posts are just pathetic.
Edit to add:
If I were a Trump sycophant like you, I would worry about obstruction of justice charges for Orange Hitler more than collusion.

Peter, did you like the billionaire 1% tax cuts, and the new GOP tax on gift certificates bosses give to workers at Christmas? At least they closed that loophole!
Trump signed the seriously flawed sanctions bill and is now implementing it and the Russians are pissed and complaining.
The tax and spend fanatics return to gnashing their teeth and rending their garments whenever the Right cuts taxes but the tax revenues the government collects continue to rise. It has increased by $1 trillion over the last decade even with the great recession.
When we actually see the tax bill that passes I expect the top quintile's effective tax rate will still be about 7 times that of the lowest quintile and double that of people who earn $100K.
by Peter (not verified) on Sun, 12/03/2017 - 5:44pm
Liar, you said Trump levied sanctions against the Russians now you say that he signed a flawed bill because of Congress. The contortions you go through to praise Trump must be causing your nose to constantly turn darker shades of brown.
The administration has since blown past an October 1 deadline to implement the sanctions. Lawmakers are now searching for answers as to whether the president is even planning to follow the law that they passed and he signed.
“If they don’t cooperate, then further actions need to be taken,” Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) told The Daily Beast on Monday. The Arizona senator, who chairs the powerful Armed Services Committee and has spoken out against the White House on its attitude toward Moscow, said the administration has left him in the dark.
Anyone in important positions in DC who thinks their conversations aren't monitored by someone is a fool. Anyone who thinks someone on Trump's team would blab incriminating evidence to Flynn, if it existed, is an idiot. It was already public knowledge that Flynn's communications were being monitored by the NSA.
by Peter (not verified) on Sun, 12/03/2017 - 6:09pm
The article is speculating on whether Flynn wore a wire for the Mueller investigation. That is a different kettle of fish from proposing the ubiquity of Deep State™. In the first case, the recording can be used as evidence in a court of law or Congressional review. In the second case, not so much.
I'm just speculating but Flynn appeared to refuse all cooperation with the witch-hunt until this plea deal was reached and his legal team maintained information sharing contacts with the WH until just before the deal. I don't know when the plea deal was signed but the covert clause seems to be forward looking.
by Peter (not verified) on Sun, 12/03/2017 - 11:45pm
The facts are that the investigation isn't a witch hunt. A witch hunt is when innocents are pursued. Both Papadopoulos and Flynn have pled guilty so they are not innocent. Manafort and Gates has been credibly charged with money laundering. Perhaps that's all there is or perhaps the speculation is correct that there's more and it goes further and deeper. Given the situation with the plea deals it's likely there's more. How much more we still don't know. You can attempt to make the argument that the crimes are trivial but with the guilty pleas it's clear this is not a witch hunt.
This is a political witch-hunt with an agenda aimed at overturning an election with zero real evidence supporting the claimed collusion between Trump and Putin. Because there is no evidence of collusion other targets near Trump are used to justify the continuing disruption which will continue through the next election. These are dog and pony shows to provide a little red meat for the snowflakes.
The grand inquisitioner Mueller didn't discover Manafort's crimes he snatched the nearly completed investigation from the FBI to pad his witch-hunt. Manafort was going to prison before Mueller adopted him and his crimes have nothing to do with Trump, his campaign or the Russians.
GI Mueller's stagecraft is pathetically transparent suppressing the plea deal news about Papadoc so he could use it as a shiny object on top of an unrelated criminal case. The two false statements plea deals were stupid mistakes with no real reason for the false statements because there was no crime to to cover up, if that was their intentions.
by Peter (not verified) on Mon, 12/04/2017 - 10:38am
Orange Hitler’s lawyers are arguing that Trump can’t obstruct justice because he is President. Trump argues the Nixon excuse. Are all Trump supporters this unaware of the facts?
And don't you think this deep state FBI switcheroo plot now aiding and abetting snowflake sympathizers is kind of surprising after so many decades of persecuting the left? Who are they trying to aid and protect, left of center billionaires? Everything upside down! Who's in charge here?
If it was stupid to make false statements to the FBI because there were no crimes committed then it was also stupid to fire Comey because he was hell bent on investigating people who did nothing wrong. That stupidity led to Mueller being named Special Counsel for the stupid reason that none of the Republicans in the House or Senate wanted to be responsible for the fallout from investigating Russian interference in the election so they pushed it on to the DOJ.
Your team doesn't appear to be very intelligent if it is in fact the case that all these reports of partnering with a foreign power to win the election are completely untrue. A smarter team would have revealed the innocuous quality of this virtuous administration from the get go and made fools of the political opportunists that would bring them low.
This is going to be a long war so you need to pace yourself and be prepared for setbacks.
The Supreme Court ruled 7 to 2 to support Trump and allow his travel restrictions/ban to take full effect. It is good to see 7 justices rule on the merits not emotions.
I think language to open up part of the ANWR for drilling is in the new tax bill. I'm not excited by this but it is needed to keep the Alaska pipline functioning and cut down our imports of oil.

I haven't read anywhere that the FBI had nearly completed the investigation of Manafort and Gates. I think you're full of shit. But even if that's true it doesn't make Muller's investigation a witch hunt. It's still a credible charge and not a witch hunt. Credible enough that Manafort had to put up two houses worth 11.5 million to get bail. It's possible that Papadopoulos and Flynn had no reason to lie to the FBI and did it just for shits and grins. At this point we can only speculate as to their reasons for lying. But they did plead guilty to lying which is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
You want to call it a witch hunt to attempt to diminish the investigation. You might have been able to hold that opinion when it started but now that is factually incorrect. It's a credible investigation that has already obtained guilty pleas from two men and charged two others with money laundering and other crimes. The dictionary is your friend, Peter, you really should use it so you don't sound like an idiot. There's spin and speculation from both sides that this is all there is or that these guilty pleas indicate that more is coming. I'd bet on the latter but usually I don't spin. I just wait and see.
Sure, let's leak a forward looking covert clause" to the world after Flynn's broken off his relations with his colleagues - makes lots of horse sense. "Hey, Mike Flynn, come on in - keep your coat on, let's talk about what really went diwn last December..."
