Just hit me that it makes sense insofar as-DOH-he's friendly with a lot of these more moderate Republicans already, communicates with them, knows how they are doing in their campaigns and what their concerns are. (May even know the wife & kids names as well.., all the Dale Carnegie schmaltz, that's our Joe.)
