Looking at the graph 1 screen below (can't link as image), in previous cycles it's taken Trump 2 months to bring Hillary lead bursts back to a tie. With 1 month out, that would leave Hillary still up quite a bit if works as before.

(nothing of course makes this actually cyclical - this could be a final break of Donald's chances, or somehow he could bounce back much quicker in some way - with 2 debates left a Hillary gaffe or some big GOP spin might do that - but typically things take time - better to be Hillary than Trump at this point)

And yeah, the title refers to that Mayan calendar thing that was supposed to change all mankind - who knows, maybe it did and we just didn't notice.... Except for guys who liked slaughtering virgins on pyramid altars, I don't know how they were supposed to be cheerleaders for peace...
