Last year, an executive at an Indian automotive company was killed in the southern state of Tamil Nadu by angry workers. In 2008, the Indian head of an Italian auto-parts firm had also been beaten to death in a New Delhi suburb by sacked employees. But Indian ministers have insisted that such incidents are 'aberrations' and would not be allowed to mar India's position as an investment-friendly destination, the report adds.
