I'm angry about the cut to UI and the absence of *any* minimum wage increase in the bill.

At the same time, I'm ELATED the Child Tax Credit is moving through unscathed, and same for EITC, school infrastructure, state and local aid, $1,400 checks, Obamacare boost...

Not only that, but Klein just got hired at a NYTimes that was increasingly being populated by continually outraged millennial wokees and Millhiser has become one of the eminence grise growups back at Vox. Things are looking up. I don't need much, just to see some sense and rationality once in a while. I'll find it where it is.

I saw Goldberg speak around 2010 and he seemed already like an oddball in a conservative world that was already beginning to take a whole other form.
