Landlords, angry over the federal eviction moratorium and facing mounting debts, are selling off property and considering getting out of the business. https://t.co/THfXXaBDe1
BREAKING: The Supreme Court lifts the federal eviction moratorium. In an unsigned 8-page opinion (with the three liberals dissenting), SCOTUS sides with a group of landlords who argued that the CDC lacked the authority to bar evictions during the pandemic.https://t.co/LNrCxd7f9Xhttps://t.co/NecnZ90zgf
Congress appropriated over $40 billion to offer rental assistance and only a fraction of the money has been spent. The moratorium wouldn't be an issue if governments weren't so incompetent.

The Supreme Court just ruled that the temporary moratorium on evictions cannot continue any longer (unless Congress makes a special law.)
Just heard a talking head on CNN say that the Biden administration pretty much expected to lose this case, but felt it was worth the old college try
