I don't think this is so hard to understand, but to Biden unity means:

— Stigmatize, isolate, and shrink political violence.

— Act more chill and polite about policy disagreements instead of name-calling and demagoguery.

The highly related article below was an immediate aha! as to the above: Someone like Yglesias probably finds it easy to understand because he never was a "where's the outrage?!!!" blogger, is clearly neurologically unfit to rant:and seems to really enjoy deconstructing any demagoguery he sees:
