The NYT has obtained some of the secret "committee confidential" Kavanaugh emails Republicans have kept secret, including one in which he challenges a description of Roe v Wade as the "settled law of the land." https://t.co/yb8S5U0DmF
Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, President Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court, has answered questions on abortion, guns and executive power during the hearing so far.
Oh and here is some early input on the newly leaked docs:
Among other bombshells, this leak indicates that Kavanaugh was indeed very involved in a judicial confirmation fight during the Bush era that he later testified, under oath, that he hadn’t been primarily involved in. How can we trust his testimony now?https://t.co/tMAI1VtWKj
Based on Kavanaugh taking part in hacking/stealing Dem Congressional emails in 2001-2003, which he lyingly denies despite the proof, I was going to suggest Leahy simply take a shit on his desk before this is all over, but Booker's move is almost as good, and likely helps position his "no guts, no glory" 2020 run.
I stand w/ Judiciary Committee Democrats who are well within their rights to release these very important documents that a former Kavanaugh deputy designed as “committee confidential.”
The American ppl deserve to know the truth about Judge Kavanaugh’s record. #WhatAreTheyHiding?
