Republicans and Islamic extremists have so much in common, seething ignorance, threats of violence, intolerance of gays, woman's rights or the freedom of anyone to disagree, rejection of science, a craving for power over others in order to cram their 'values' down the throats of all, and a hypocritical belief that they have a direct line to God who backs them 100%.
