Albanese is a old longtime NYC pol as in "everyone knows his name"

I am mightily impressed by Wiley's smart marketing as an "outsider" with the tagline I Am Not a Conventional Candidate.

That phrase encapsulates exactly how Giuliani and Bloomberg won election and re-election and why Dinkins lost re-election and why De Blasio will loose re-election. (De Blasio is extra special, though, in being both extremely conventional AND extremely incompetent and full of himself.)
