In case I did in fact lose something; Boner caved in as the news media went onto other subjects.

The Speaker might be a lot smarter than I thought.

Richard, the speaker would HAVE to be smarter than either of us think. He had the votes but did not bring the bill to the floor initially in fear of the wingnuts. It will be interesting to see if Republicans will now try to govern or if the wingnuts will demand a pound of flesh because Boner, er Boehner caved.

When my post disappears in this column, I go back and use the edit tab on top. I put the link back in and do the text the 2nd time and then it sticks when I save it. It has happen several times recently.

Isn't Pelosi amazing. She keeps all her chickens together. Her and Hoyer really know how to count the votes.

I figured they would get to this point on Thursday or Friday.
