It is a good article. The points made about how far over stretched the Chinese are in resources by every measure should be the focus of negotiating or competing with them as Nation.

Another element of the Empire idea to question regards the fact that the U.S. is actively withdrawing from that role while complaining about the increase of power in other nations. If one wanted to slow down the physics of globalization, the method conceived by the Bannonites is a mistake. It gives more power to the financial sector that China relies upon as much as the rest of us do.
