Three polls all have Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis with favorable job approval ratings more than a year and a half ahead of his reelection campaign as Democrats ramp up their efforts to challenge him, a fresh new round of polling in Florida shows. https://t.co/UH581jeeNe
If by chance you've been arguing to friends and family in FL who are happy with DeSantis by telling them he's covered up a lot of Covid deaths, based on this woman's data spread by social media, you need to check out this story. And probably admit to them you were fooled by it. Or else if they hear about it first, they'll not trust a thing you say about him from now on.
Like when 1 tape of DeSantis on CVS and vaccines was edited to make it look like he was helping out corporate buddies rather than just setting proper priorities. Journalistic malpractice if not criminal fraud.
I agree, We are just going to continue this nightmare of polarization and paranoid conspiracy thinking if all info. we get is spun out of whole cloth to the max. People can't even usefully attack a politician; it will always be counterproductive, you won't win over anyone who aligns on "the other side". It really is like a crime, too, like fraud. It is, of course, often about personal profit, i.e., followers, clicks, hits, ratings, feeding beasts of the imagination. Just like Trump does. Can't we at least use him as a learning experience of what is bad to do instead of everyone following his lead?
It is more important than ever to appreciate people who are really just trying to figure out what is really going on in any situation rather than trying to confirm their pre-conceived narrative.
