Not as much baking as the past this year. One kid is on a restricted diet because of stomach problems. We are making caramel corn today. I have an old recipe from a 1932 cookbook that was my mother's. You make a caramel sauce and pour it over the popped corn and bake it in a slow oven for an hour stirring it every 15 minutes. I use a large turkey roasting pan with high sides to bake this in that is their great great grandmother's. This will be the first time the kids have seen this done. I remember this being so good. I may regret this because they will probably want to do this from now on.
