There are quite a few people in the black community, desperate for some opportunity to show malice and cruelty after feeling powerless most their lives, who prematurely celebrated the rise of meth addiction in white America. I have met them. This can't be good news for such people.
A group called Urban Alchemy recruits former Crips and dealers to shoo away people using and selling fentanyl, which killed more residents last year than COVID did.
