The Democratic Party is infiltrated with members of the Communist Party according to a Florida Republican. The scary thing is not that prominent members of the Republican Party are saying stuff like this, the scary thing is millions of Americans are sure to believe it, and all the huge swill pond of lies we will continue to hear from the GOP in this election year.

And the resident conservative nitwit at the NYT, Russ Douthat, had a column on how Democrats use fear to scare voters, The Liberalism of Fear today. There is no doubt the GOP is now, and has been for decades, a Party with a mission for exploiting fear and division for partisan advantage.

Rep. Allen West (R-Fl)  response the question, “what percentage of the American legislature do you think are card-carrying Marxists?” West replied, “I believe there’s about 78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party that are members of the Communist Party.”
