I especially like this as an idea, don't ask me to explain why, too difficult to verbalize and too personal:
LeBron James often credits his bicycle as a huge factor in his childhood that gave him an escape from dangerous parts of his neighborhood and the freedom to explore — every student will receive a bicycle when they arrive.
And while others might scoff, I think the fancy schmancy lobby is also a very good idea for a multitude of reasons. (Though I certainly didn't have that in parochial school--strictly the mint green cinderblock thing with the blond wood prison furniture and packed 50-to-a-room most of us boomers all still see in our dreams. Suffice it to say: different times.)

Was just by a lovely old stone school in Grece - so nice the kids are still hanging around in summer. Mine wasn't bad, but not near this character.
