Interesting to read; the headline is misleading. Basically "sources say" Bolton and Pompeo pressed him to choose this Pentagon plan after the drone brouhaha, and he said no, only if they kill an American. One cannot clearly tell from the article how many of the sources verified exactly that. Must say it sounds like him, though, a simple minded red line, consequences be damned.
