3 National elections plus 2 mid-week elections have gone by since that NYTimes article. Even vote/election assurance from 2020 was way way better than 2016 (and i was quite surprised, considering Trump, Barr & de Joy pushed to screw it up/bias it.) So it's falling that the (til recently) least judicial justice on the court reaches back to pull a misleading article out of someone's ass from 8 1/2 years ago as "justification" for right-wing talking points for a decade (cf Hans von Spakovsky, among others)
