I agree this is truly scary, that it's by far the scariest thing Trump has attempted to date. If Congress isn't able to reign this in, hopefully there's some brave whistleblowers in "the troops" and many willing to just continue honoring the oath they took despite pressure from the idjits above them appointed by Trump. Unfortunately, there have also been a lot of rogues in "the troops" as well.

p.s. Don't gloss over that story because of my quip; it may be quite important. Apparently Trump may have appointed him in a mistaken panic about what the House was being told about Russian interference in 2020.

That in this panicked state he just grabbed for the most convenient loyalist lackey available. By headlining the story this way, I think Law and Crime is suggesting that perhaps in such desparate instances, he just grabs for the Trump Gold Member list?
