Forgive this indulgence in journalistic meta for those who like people to stick to the issues and being outraged about them.

I found it immediately striking that ProPublica used a flattering picture of Trump to illustrate the title page. It says, in contrast to what I have become inured to seeing: we are a serious and objective operation that is not going to go for the cheap shot of using one of the many photos available that make him look crazy.
