Is it that Trump is starting to think everyone is an enemy, or something like that? I dunno, not gonna look into it much.At this point I am thinking: a different kind of "just stop it", more like: just stop paying attention. Like Joe. GOP will shake out the way it shakes out, gonna take time. You deal with it then.
They are supposed to fight for the law, the people and the Constitution, not blindly back Papa Don, and every lie, conspiracy theory and corrupt action and threat he executes to attack honest officials.
But the GOP base wants Trump, loves Trump, must have Trump, forever and ever. Lindsey just got reelected by the base for another 6 years of getting away with anything, and is happy as a piggy wallowing in mud.
despite what I just said about letting go of following the story I can't resist this:
“Several Republicans in Georgia said they’re not sure Trump really wants Loeffler or Perdue to win because if they do, it undermines his central complaint that the state’s elections are rigged.” https://t.co/0XmU4Y4rHL
well this pretty much solves the question of which way he's going to go with that:
Reports are coming out of the 12th Congressional District of Georgia that Dominion Machines are not working in certain Republican Strongholds for over an hour. Ballots are being left in lock boxes, hopefully they count them. Thank you Congressman @RickAllen!
To one person, Trump even confided he was “just disappointed we lost.” But he still maintains he would have won a fair election.

Donald Trump has privately acknowledged he lost the presidency. He knows Joe Biden will replace him. He recognizes Congress will formally certify the results on Wednesday.
To one person, Trump even confided he was “just disappointed we lost.”
Trump’s acceptance has taken shape in recent weeks, according to three people who have spoken to Trump in that time span, with one conversation occurring a week ago. Trump admits his defeat, but still maintains he would have won a fair election, they said, despite no concrete evidence emerging of widespread voter fraud. He has even discussed his exit plans from Washington with staff, debating when to move to his South Florida Mar-a-Lago resort, according to one of the people.
Sometimes, Trump does still lapse back into the belief that maybe, just maybe, he could somehow eke out a win, most often when listening to his small group of lawyers, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Chapman University law professor John Eastman.
But mostly, he is continuing his fight to subvert the election for a Trumpian reason: to keep the attention on himself and give his supporters what they want, according to the people who have spoken with him.
“The point is to still be relevant and still be talked about in the news,” said one of the people. “This is someone who’s been on Page Six of the New York Post for 40 years. He’s beyond embarrassment.” [....]
^ Basically says not batshit -crazy deluded but a narcissist doing kabuki (as usual for at least 40 years) to maintain focus on him. Fighting for his ego maintenance, basically. That there's no such thing as bad news, there's just ratings. He'll be leaving the White House, but he will not be be leaving the country alone, actually will probably have more time to make more noise. Fits with the fact that he tweeted today that he's going to speak to the "YUGE" crowd coming to DC to rally for "Stop the Steal." Just like he came in prioritzing the argument that the crowd at his inauguration was YUGE.
To be clear: he doesn't want to lose Trump haters, he wants haters attention just as much as fans. What he doesn't want is to be ignored. A true troll through and through.
