I think this is a very dangerous act. It plays into the dual nationality trope and that we are a race. There’s no nationality. We have Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Ethiopian Jews. French and Spanish Jews, etc.

I get the gist of her comment but I am uncomfortable with her lingo, with her choice of wording she is bringing the ethnic nation states issue in here, confusing things. The U.S. is not an ethnic nation state, for one very big example. And on the other end, Jews can be converts and from none of those specific tribes she mentions.
