Daniel Prude died March 30, seven days after Rochester, New York police put a hood over his head and pressed his face into the pavement for two minutes.

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - After nearly four hours of peaceful protest, demonstrators and law enforcement clashed for the third night in a row.

Thousands flooded downtown Rochester streets Saturday night to rally against racism and injustice and demand accountability in the death of Daniel Prude. They have grown in size each night.

Saturday's event, hosted by Free The People Roc, started on Jefferson Avenue at approximately 6:30 p.m. Marchers then made their way downtown

Rochester Police said in a tweet that officers were blocking roads to clear a path for the protesters.

This follows a night of protests that led to 11 people being arrested and three law enforcement officers injured in what police called a riot.
