yeah, as I've opined on the "blackface" issue, who the heck is going to run for office with the right wing army of oppo researchers out there googling in the basement? Nobody moderate likes their candidates any more, the moderate ones are quitting like flies, the only hope to defeat Dem candidates is to smear them with private pecadillo stories til they drop out too. At a certain point, for the oppo research smeared pols, it's not about losing voters but losing your privacy and dignity and having a life. Is sort of a new version of the papparazzi hounding entertainment celebrities to a hellish existence. Now if you run for office, your whole life can be laid bare and even if you quit someone at the supermarket line is gonna remember the story, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Without the huge money to make it bearable.

Sex with a subordinate - really a crime? Or are we oblivious to how a huge chunk of relationships develop because we often don't even have a life outside of work?
And this one was *prior* to Hill taking office, so her campaign - like who cares? except Republicans, cuz they know Democrats are always eager to self-immolate for some contrived unrealistic value system - look at how we're handling what should be a slam dunk election.

GOP had advance notice *again* on doc/photo drop? Papadopoulos like Rudy and Roger Stone? If I didn't know better, I'd bet they were involved in ratf*cking collusion including phone hacking. I mean respectable news orgs like News Corp and AMI/Enquirer would never go in for this stuff, would they? And by the way, who were these active FBIag nts who were so outraged over Weiner's laptop they threatened Comet with a mutiny, or so sayeth Rudy, and he's America's mayor/DA/consigliere...
