Every day I marvel at the following: Trump's top 2016 Russia adviser, Putin "friend" Dimitri Simes, acted as a Putin-Trump backchannel during the election, then fled to Russia when his Russian-spy contact Maria Butina was arrested, and now works for the Kremlin. And no one cares.
