I'm still reluctant to go there - collusion with Russia rests on much more known egregious conduct, and pinning it all on whether Cohen went to Prague has long been a potential escape route for their crisis (like how Bush got out of his Reserve AWOL problem through an anachronistic font in a fake leaked doc, ignoring his actual AWOLness & getting Dan Rather axed). Yes it's possible Cohen was there, yes he could have taken train, private plane or automobile from anywhere (but UK?) in the EU/maybe Switzerland as well, no he didn't have to be in Prague per se rather than close (say some Russia-friendly towns in the Czech republic), etc. If he did, Mueller knows and this will be out by the end of February likely. But even if he didn't, he coordinated a bunch of other illegal stuff.
[....] This may all come down to what Mueller knows versus what Cohen has told him about the reputed Prague meeting. Mueller really does know everything here, as Cohen tweeted yesterday, and it would be very unwise of Cohen to lie to the Special Counsel investigation about his travels and activities on behalf of his former client—particularly anything involving Kremlin representatives.
This controversial case forms a cornerstone of the Trump-Russia inquiry. Resolving it will go a long way to establishing if there was direct collusion between our 45th president and the Kremlin in 2016. Was the Prague trip the centerpiece of Trump’s clandestine collusion with Moscow—or one more elaborate Russian disinformation scheme to muddy waters and render American politics even more divided and nasty? We may know soon.
Try this: why did Trump need money going *back* to Russia? From his lawyer, a noticeable long-term aide and recognizable major campaign figure? Carrying cash halfway around the world to East Europe? For hackers Putin's already been paying $1.2 billion a year? (ask Manafort, who was being paid by Russia via various channels for a decade, even worked as Trump's campaign manager "for free")

Something's perverse here.
