Obama was leading Romney on Thursday

For the 7 days to Wednesday R had a 7 point average lead. So

Then for the 7 days to  Thursday R had a 6 point lead. That must mean that

     + 1 day (thursday) times      X

      Total                                            367  an average of  52.5

O  6 days times                        46

     + 1 day times                        Y

     Total                                              327 an average of  46.5

X must be 49 and Y must be 51.

If Friday continues this 49 to 51 Obama lead Gallup will report that its tracking poll shows a 4 or 5 point Romney lead. But that's speculation , the above is just math
