    WHY BLOG AT ALL?

I go through my old stuff sometimes, I have no life. hahahah

A long time ago I wrote about Mr. & Mrs. Johnson

Now, I miss a lot of peeps.
I miss AA and I miss Resistence and Carol for chrissakes! ha

I think I pissed them off.

Hell, I have pissed a lot of people off over the last 66 years.

Anyway, Larry had this to say a couple of years ago

We live in amazing times where things that were once the stuff of fantasy and dreams are now possible due to advances in science and technology.  The ancients had their Icarus.  Are you our modern son of Day (Daedelus in the ancient spelling)?

Do you ever write something and receive poetics like this?

Of course, 2014 and 2015 were good years for me.

I never received a dime in payment.

But I received millions (of value)  in response. Oh it was tens of thousands of hits of course, but in my brain I received millions. hahahah

    That is the damned truth.

    hahahahha

There is a more modern tale that speaks another admonition.  Consider this.  We are both older gentlemen and it is in the Nature of things that we discard more and more bits of ourselves about the environment.  Our eyes randomly drip more moisture than when we were young.  We cough and sneeze with unpleasant regularity.  Our dryer skin flakes and flutters to the ground.  Now the human body is home to myriad forms of flora and fauna.  (Have you seen the images of mites (Demotex) the live in our eye lashes?).  We are as well home to many non-living particles such as viruses.  So imagine yourself wandering the surface of Mars, dropping living and half-living detritus onto the unforgiving terrain - unforgiving except for the fact that none of the inhabitants of those bits will face any natural enemies.  This was the warning inside the plot for the novel and movie Jurrasic Park – the pertinent line of dialogue – “Life finds a way.” Rather than being a single visitor to the red planet, you may create an entire menagerie of critters – invasive flora and fauna of many types.  One might even speculate that our planet which was once as inhospitable a place as current day Mars may have experienced a visit of a single blogger from some distant planet, an older gentleman, and thus Earth came alive.

There is present at Dagblog such topics as:

    I HATE TRUMP

    I HATE HILLARY

And that is all fine. Trump is such a strange strange mixture of fantasy and a foregone conclusion that....

    Why write?

I had this need to express myself back in 2008.

I had all these important things to say.

But eight years later, I wonder if I have anything else to add? Or did I ever have anything to add.

I watch Trump and I get so goddamned mad.

I mean, this idiot can place his fingers in the air like some feminine character of the ancient ages and I think:

HOW  COULD ANYONE TAKE THIS GUY SERIOUSLY?

But this take does not really help us understand how things work.

Trump and most in power (over the last ten thousand years) never cared about truth or justice or fairness or anything like these ideas.

Maybe Hillary has been searching for a truth that will justify using other truths. There is some higher truth and we must use any means available....

The best result is a the greater kind of truth....?

    But Trump believes in nothing.

Trump only believes in his own ....? Believe in what? I think about nihilism and Trump is it. But if Trump really is nihilistic, why would he keep seeking something that does not matter?

What happens when you believe in nothingness but you believe in yourself?

That is what I do not get.

Trump certainly has hundreds of millions of available cash, even if he has not reached the billions that he claims. And what do peasants like me care about the actual amount?

I do laugh at exposes that demonstrate that this bastard never uses his own monies to fund charities

    hahhahahhahahaha

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/proof-trumps-charity-giving-elusive-134515907--election.html?ref=gs

This bastard never gave anybody anything except to himself.

    https://nonprofitquarterly.org/2015/08/03/if-trumps-charity-reflects-the-man/

Even his own campaign is plagued by the issue: where the money is at and how can I get to it?

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/03/01/donald-trump-is-paying-himself-to-run-for-president.html

Trump makes fun of fat people and yet he is old and fat?

Trump makes fun of liars and yet he lies all the time?

Trump makes fun of women and yet he has shat all over women his entire life?

Trump expresses hate for the 'media" and yet trump would be nowhere without the media.

FDR  got rid of Coughlin with  the help of the Vatican

But no one can get rid of the Donald?

And the point of all this?

I do not have a point.

What I write here is pointless?

All I have ever done is express my emotions at the time I expressed them. hahahah

Like I stated above, I just went over some old blogs and discovered that some commenters have it all over me. hahahha

OH, AND I REALLY REALLY REALLY HATE TRUMP.

    Just to make that clear.

But things would not be better if Marco or Cruz or Huckleberry or Saintorum or Bush for that matter, had won the day.

These folks would surreptitiously would attack those outside of  the one percent.

Hell we are better off with a psycho, I THINK. hahhahaha

But in this tiny world of Dagblog, one might get a response that causes one pause.

Q or Larry or Peracles or Momoe or a number of others give me pause sometimes.

But nihilism seems to rule? hahahahah

You have a point so you're not pointless.  Why blog?  Why not?  Look how much fun you have! And look how much enjoyment you give us!

And Bobby Darin.  What a voice!

The world has suffered much from some people believing things about other people that tended to get those "other" people killed. Trump may not have a moral compass but he has enough belief about who other people are to make him dangerous.

In the Twentieth Century, much was made of the mesmerizing power of ideology. The point was well made by many smart people. But those forces are not necessarily greater than the consequences of simply not understanding what is happening and blaming others for the confusion.

    I am late, as usual.

Moat, goooooooooood to see you again.

And to know that once in a while, you read me.

    hahahahah

    Moral compasses.

    LET US PRAY.

    HA

I still have one favorite song.
