Wasn't it lead that caused crime to go up in the 80s & then it's removal solved the 90s, and not various criminal initiatives including Clinton's? Has anyone contacted Bill to find out if it's still his fault, or if there's a mysterious source of lead we haven't noticed (aside from the kind coming out a barrel).

Baseball fans coming out to memorialize the little boy killed by the maniac wannabe rapper killer driving his SUV through Waukesha's Christmas parade:
I suspect the between-the-lines message, as baseball is now considered the boring old whypipple's sport by many in Wisconsin, with the NBA for the hip, and NFL in the middle, it's: "and which side are you on, Colin Kapaernick and fellow take-a-knee travelers?"

3 Students Killed in Michigan High School Shooting, Live Updates @ NYTimes.com, Nov. 30, 10 pm
A 15-year-old sophomore surrendered after firing a semiautomatic handgun. The dead included a 14-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. Authorities are expected to release more details at a 10 p.m. news conference.
Here’s what you need to know:
The dead were all students at Oxford High.
‘No one should be afraid to go to school,’ Michigan’s governor says.
Inside one classroom, students barricaded the door and grabbed scissors.
School shootings are becoming more frequent, after a lull during the pandemic.
Here’s what to know about Oxford High School.
A Times editor who attended Oxford recalls a decade-old shooting drill
There's a video feed to the press conference from the A.P. at the NYTimes link which I imagine you might find elsewhere if you're not a subscriber

^ note the shooter used a handgun, not a rifle, so let's not drag out old memes about Democrats trying to regulate military grade automatic rifles and the NRA stopping them, shall we? That's so over! That is no longer the problem. Those owners are sportsman, comparatively, they like to shoot big guns.
The new problem is that everyone and his uncle went out and bought handguns in 2020 in perhaps the greatest handgun buying boom in history while the Geo. Floyd protests and a pandemic were going on. And now those handguns are causing death and mayhem in mass quantities across the country, especially in instances of use by the untrained. Furthermore, they are perfectly legal in most states and localities.
Who the heck is going to go in home and confiscate them? They certainly would not win re-election...
Some kind of licensing as with motor vehicles is the next step? Which would encourage a lot of parents and relatives and family who can effect things to take them more seriously? And allow police to ask to see licenses?
I see zero reasons that handgun ownership and usage should be treated any differently than motor vehicles. Zero.

AND you have to have insurance to own one and to carry one? Or it gets confiscated! Doesn't matter if it's a ghost gun or one you made from a 3D printer...you better have a license and insurance.
edit to add: he injured 6 as well as killing 3 with that single handgun; you don't need an AR-15 to do that.
