Or, at least, to the Bush Justice Department, it could be. (If it was a Democrat's website, that is.)
I got such a chuckle out of Josh's item about McCain's website giving "Golf Gear" similar billing with his "Decision Center" and "Obama and Iraq" (
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/198945.php) that I started wandering around my Senator's "store".
One of the tabs over there was for "Coalitions Apparel". Curious, hoping that maybe he would have some "I'm British and I Heart McCain" or "Let's Nuke Iran Together" shirts, I clicked.
Oh, well. Among the "coalitions" that get their own lapel pins are "African Americans," "Arab Americans," "Asian & Pacific Americans," "Jewish Americans," and "Americans With Disabilities."
Standing out like a sore thumb was "Hispanics." NOT "Hispanic Americans." Just "Hispanics."
If THAT doesn't breed (more) distrust of Sen. McCain among the Republican xenophobe demographic AND a Texas US Attorney investigation of voter fraud, nothing will.
Hmmmmm.
