1. Every time the media picks up a negative McCain meme about the Democratic ticket and repeats it, make a donation to Obama's campaign.
2. Realize that the Obama/Biden campaign needs your brawn as much as your awesome super-brain. While blogging at TPM serves to develop some useful memes and spread information, it may not be as powerful as taking what you know and using it to persuade another great mind down the street or across town. So hook up with your nearest Obama campaign office to canvass, phone and write letters to the local newspaper editor.
3. Let the quarterbacks lead. Stay on message when speaking with undecideds. Not your message, but Obama/Biden's. Believe it or not, they know what's on people's minds. Help them by reinforcing the core message, supporting it and answering questions you can.
4. Advertise for the Democrats. No, don't buy 200 spots in drivetime. Just wear an Obama button on your lapel. Put up a campaign sign. Buy a bumper sticker. Wear an Obama/Biden T-shirt.
5. Think clearly. Argue assertively. Keep your sense of humor. And never let the bastards get you down.
