Sarah Palin stars in new TV commercial

Scene: Sarah Palin standing onstage at a town hall gathering waving to admirers.

Palin: Now, I'd like to take some questions.

(Sen. Chuck Hagel steps up to the mic.)

Hagel:  You don't really have enough experience to be Vice-president, do you?

Palin: No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once.

(Fade up on Holiday Inn Logo.)

V.O.: We're Holiday Inn and we approved this message ... reminding you that when you're in Juneau, our Holiday Inn has a tanning bed and you can shoot caribou from the balcony.

Okay, I just made this up ...  But  with any luck, she'll end up like William Miller, who did the "Do You Know Me?" American Express commercials after being Goldwater's running mate in 1964.
