Obama is Literally Hitler

So should we call him Obitler? Hiltama? Seriously though folks, this is funny stuff.

The website http://obamaisliterallyhitler.tumblr.com/ observes Godwins Internet Law which basically states the longer a discussion lasts on an internet forum the more likely it is that someone is going to draw a parallel between the person/issue and Hitler. This site is completely facetious and is meant to make fun of people who are extreme enough to draw those parallels.

I know I’ve played the Hitler card on Dagblog; to which someone responded that he refused to reply to my comment because he has a rule never to engage anyone in argument who uses Hitler. I rescinded my comment and then made a comparison to Pol Pot. Granted, I was trying to be over the top with my argument and knew I was out of line, I still dropped the Hitler bomb (it was in reference to the Michael Jackson adulation following his death).

My 3 favorite Obama-Hitler parallels are:

• Both held giant political rallies
• Both were on the cover of Time magazine
• Both wrote books on their “struggle” (this one is my absolute favorite)

Anyway check the website and let me know if you think this is actually funny or out of line r any other parallels. I think it’s fan-freaking-tastic, but I am petulant and am known to have bad taste.
